(N)SHÖU O/J Cable

(N)SHÖU Cable is used within the mining industry for heavy-duty equipment power connections where there's high levels of mechanical stress. This tough rubber flexible cables has a voltage rating of 600/1000V.

(N)SHOEU Cable Specification
The (N)SHOEU cable is flame-retardant, UV resistant, and resistant to abrasions, cuts and tears, as well has having good resistance to greases and oils. This range is suitable for installation in dry, damp, wet and in hazardous environments, they can be permanently submersed in fresh water, salt water, storm water, oily water and sewage-contaminated water, to a depth of 100 metres. 

This range has a temperature rating of -25oC to +80oC when flexed and -40oC to +80oC when used in a fixed installation. Like many other mining power cables, including the (N)SSHÖU and (N)SSCHÖU cables, the (N)SHÖU cable is generally manufactured to German standard VDE0250 part 812.
